ASA at AirVenture: Learning and More

At AirVenture and looking for a place to have fun and learn about piloting? Look no further than the ASA booth in Hanger B, Aisle D. As usual, plenty of books and pilot supplies will be available for you to pick up. Show specials on our video and ground school courses for private, instrument, and remote pilots will make us worth a stop.

At the Tent

ASA will also be cohosting a tent in the Collegiate Park area with the National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA). We’ll have plenty of activities to keep you busy, but we’ve also got reasons for you to stop and rest awhile, not to mention our very own ASA branded sunscreen!

Be sure to join us at the tent on Monday, July 24, at 11 a.m. Central along with FLYING magazine to watch the release of the final episode of a six-part series documenting one of the most intense annual competitions in collegiate aviation, NIFA SAFECON Championship.

At the Booth

On Tuesday, July 25, at 1 p.m., join us at the ASA booth in Hangar B, Aisle D as we livestream author Barry Schiff to our booth. FLYING magazine editor Julie Boatman will be moderating a discussion with Barry Schiff about his new book An Illustrated Guide to Flying. Q&A session to follow.

Our booth will also have games you can play and prizes you can win, not to mention fellowship for student pilots and others going through pilot training. Be sure to stop by, you’ll be glad you did!
